Airbusted: report by Justice for Myanmar and Info Birmanie

September 16, 2024

An investigation by Justice For Myanmar and Info Birmanie has uncovered damning
evidence of Aviation Industry Corporation of China’s (AVIC) continued supply of aircraft and
weapons to Myanmar’s military junta, which are used in its commission of international crimes.

French aerospace giant Airbus is a major investor and partner of AVIC.

Justice for Myanmar and Info Birmanie’s joint report details AVIC’s business with the Myanmar military and Airbus’ links with AVIC. The authors demand that Airbus use its leverage to pressure AVIC to cease all business with the Myanmar military, or responsibly divest.
