Chevron were removed from the Dirty List after announcing plans to withdraw from Burma.

Chevron

Chevron is an American energy company with a decades long track record of being linked to human rights violations, environmental destruction and lobbying against action to mitigate climate change. Burma is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world to climate change.

In Burma Chevron is part of the Yadana gas project. Since the military coup on 1st February 2021 the military took control of state owned enterprises. It now receives the revenue from gas production.
