This report by Candle Light, Southern Youth and Tarkapaw Youth group highlights the risks and threats posed by proposed dams on the Tanintharyi [Tenasserim] River, and calls on the government, the Karen National Union and dam developers to listen to the voices of the indigenous communities and refrain from moving ahead with projects which will adversely impact them and the surrounding environment.
