The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners has compiled a comprehensive report as evidence to enable the prosecution of Myanmar military leaders and subordinates for their crimes against humanity.
In her foreword, Yanghee Lee, the former UN Special Rapporteur, says the recommendations listed in this report lay out a clear path towards accountability and justice for the victims and survivors of the junta’s atrocities. Ending the military’s impunity through bringing a case against them to the International Criminal Court is essential to ending the devastating cycle of violence that has destroyed so many lives.
